The Town proposes to sell the property, comprising the former train station building and adjacent parking areas, for $383,403, which is the assessed value. Council passed a motion authorizing the CAO to continue working with SSWC to finalize a Purchase and Sale Agreement, with direction that negotiations consider the discussions and concerns raised during the public hearing. The final agreement will return to Council for approval.
