The District of Lunenburg is taking measures to safeguard Hemlock trees within the municipality. The conservation team will continue its efforts to combat the invasive hemlock woolly adelgid. The team is surveying Miller Point Peace Park, MARC and River Ridge Common. Yellow and green ribbons are being tied to hemlocks for measurement and treatment, and park users are asked not to remove the ribbons.
