A life well-lived will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 16th. Reverend Barbara Minard, passed away in her sleep at her home in Mahone Bay on July 2nd. She was 100 years old. Barbara was a teacher before being called to the Ministry when she earned earned a Master’s degree in Theology and was ordained in the Anglican Church. She served congregations in PEI and Dartmouth. She moved to Mahone Bay some years later.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at St. James Anglican Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow in Halifax. In place of flowers, please consider donating in Barbara’s name to a charity of your choice or to one of the following: South Shore Open Doors Association, Soul’s Harbour Rescue Mission, ElderDog - or take someone out for a coffee in her honour.
