Prime Minister Mark Carney is expected to brief the country’s premiers today about his first face-to-face with U.S. President Donald Trump. Carney didn’t say much other than he pressed the case about U.S tariffs with the president in their closed door meeting yesterday. He says it is not clear how long the tariffs will last but Canada has strong arguments against them, that in the end, will only hurt U.S. workers.
