The patio bylaw will be on the agenda for this morning’s Mahone Bay council meeting. At a special council meeting last week about the sidewalk patio at 538 Main Street a motion was made to rescind the bylaw after 100 year-old Barbara Minard allegedly passed away after falling at the site. It was voted down and it is expected that staff will be asked to prepare a report for a public meeting being held later this month.
