Lunenburg town council has given staff more direction on the noise bylaw. Council is in the process of updating it and has not made a final decision. Staff was asked for clearer rules around mechanical noise, the optional use of decibel readings guided by provincial standards for certain types of noise and refining the language around noise that affects outdoor conversation and quiet enjoyment. The revised by law will be back in front of council at the June 24th meeting. Residents are welcome to attend to provide feedback.
