A big birthday bash is being held on Saturday for the Town of Lunenburg. Everyone is invited to celebrate Lunenburg’s 272nd birthday with cake and speeches. On top of that, the Millennium Time Capsule buried by the UNESCO Flags in the bandstand park will be opened. The time capsule was buried there in 2000, and no one really remembers what’s in it. The celebration kicks off at noon.
