St. Francis Xavier University is welcoming the Honourable Lisa Raitt as its new Chair of the Board of Governors. The former cabinet minister and served as the Deputy Leader of the Official Opposition and the Conservative Party of Canada. She graduated from St. FX in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree before obtaining her Masters Degree in Chemistry at the University of Guelph and a Law Degree from Osgoode Hall in Toronto. Right now, she is the Vice-Chair of Global Investment Banking with CIBC Markets.
