The investigation continues into a hit and run in New Ross. Lunenburg County RCMP got the call on July 5th, just before 7:30 at night, that a child had been hit in a beach parking lot at a high rate of speed. The child was taken to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department for treatment and then was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the F-250 was found just before 9 that night and was showing signs of being impaired, and was arrested after blowing over. The 35-year-old man from Chester Grant faces charges of failure to stop after an accident and impaired operation causing bodily harm.
