The federal government will spend $2.8 million to fight the overdose crisis. Atlantic provinces will be given the money to fund four projects in Amherst, Fredericton, Miramichi and St. Johns. The Emergency Treatment Fund will provide the money. The funding will deliver immediate support to where the communities need it most.
