Bridgewater Police Service and the Bridgewater Fire Department are investigating damage to various objects at Shipyards Landing on King Street. When they arrived, they found the floating dock in LaHave River on fire. While the fire was doused, the dock suffered irreparable damage. Emergency responders also noticed that property belonging to the Shipyard Shindig Music & Arts Festival, or its contractors, had been damaged. An overturned port-a-potty had also been set on fire near Woodland Gardens. Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects who may be responsible for the damage.
